Northern Borders University has undergone significant technological advancements to create an effective digital transformation for the University's employees. The Deanship of Information Technology consistently emphasizes the importance of enhancing the digital experience for university staff in alignment with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, the university's strategic plan (2020-2025), the objectives of the Digital Government Authority, and the pillars of the Spending Efficiency Authority. The main objective of the Information Technology Deanship is to leverage the most effective digital solutions and implement best technical practices to ensure that the university achieves its educational and administrative goals. During the past period, the university has adopted the concept of a "paperless university" by replacing its traditional administrative procedures with electronic ones, resulting in a more efficient work environment and accelerated completion of tasks within a short period. Moreover, the university has recently prioritized enhancing the quality of its information assets across various government platforms, such as the Ministry of Education's university system and the Ministry of Human Resources and Community Service's commitment platform. Ultimately, through its strategic plan for digital transformation, which builds upon its overarching strategic plan (2020-2025), the university aims to remain up-to-date with emerging technological developments, which enhances the University's position and presence among various government institutions and advances its digital maturity indicators.
