Development and Quality Unit

The development and quality unit focuses on various measurement, evaluation, and accreditation responsibilities. It is responsible for creating and enhancing tools for evaluation processes, as well as designing accreditation plans and policies within the institution. This unit also offers consultations to improve quality and strategically plan for the future in different departments and units within the deanship. Some of the entrusted tasks for this unit include:

 

  • Spreading a culture of quality throughout the deanship.
  • Collaborating with different departments and units to meet total quality requirements.
  • Establishing specialized teams to implement total quality practices within the deanship.
  • Working on enhancing and developing quality procedures and models.
  • Conducting monitoring and internal audits of all departments and units to ensure comprehensive adherence to quality standards.
  • Periodically reviewing the quality management system to ensure its effectiveness.
  • Participating in the development of work methods and performance measurement standards for all deanship functions.
  • Participating in the preparation and updating of job descriptions for all deanship positions.
  • Preparing, implementing, and monitoring the internal audit plan and programs for the deanship's quality system.
  • Supporting and encouraging creativity, excellence, and fostering a spirit of competition within the deanship.
  • Conducting necessary studies to self-assess the deanship's performance.
  • Developing emergency and crisis recovery plans.
  • Creating future strategic plans for quality management in the deanship and overseeing their implementation.
  • Compiling periodic reports and statistics on performance levels, beneficiary satisfaction, activities, achievements, and proposing improvements for the dean's review.
  • Creating job performance assessments for deanship staff.
  • Taking part in the development and execution of strategic plans within the deanship.
